Peddi, the sports action drama starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, opened to mixed reviews but still managed a bumper opening, crossing ₹100 crore worldwide on its first day.
The film collected a net of ₹51.00 crore across 12,412 shows in India, with a total India gross of ₹82.49 crore and a total India net of ₹69.50 crore.
Overseas, Peddi grossed ₹30.00 crore, bringing its total worldwide gross collection to ₹112.49 crore, according to the makers, who claim it has grossed ₹135.36 crore worldwide on its opening day.
Peddi has surpassed the opening day collections of films like Pathaan (₹104.19 crore), Jawan (₹129.13 crore), and Prabhas' The Raja Saab (₹100.9 crore), but it remains to be seen if it will maintain momentum and emerge as a success at the box office.
