Ravi compared Peddi to Aamir Khan's hits 3 Idiots and Dangal, predicting a National Award for Ram after its release.

He predicted that Peddi will become the hope of India and the youth, and praised Ram's performance, saying he can see all the awards coming.
Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and stars Ram, Janhvi Kapoor, and Shiva Rajkumar, with AR Rahman composing the music.
