The funeral of Malayalam actor Sreenivasan, who passed away at 69, turned into a scene of disrespect for the grieving family as numerous people clicked selfies and videos. Prithviraj Sukumaran's wife, Supriya Menon, expressed her outrage on Instagram, stating that the family was left with no space to mourn their beloved due to the overwhelming presence of cameras and phones. In her post, she questioned whether the coverage of the funeral had gone too far, saying, 'How much coverage is too much?' Sreenivasan, a renowned actor, screenwriter, film director, and producer, died on December 20 at a hospital in Kochi. His funeral was attended by hundreds of people, including actors, filmmakers, politicians, and fans. The family had requested for some space to grieve, but the scene turned out to be anything but somber. Supriya Menon expressed her sympathies for the family, saying, 'Cannot imagine the pain of the family who are in the midst of this tragedy.' Sreenivasan was married to Vimala in 1984, and the couple has two children. His elder son, Vineeth Sreenivasan, is a singer, actor, producer, and director, while his younger son, Dhyan Sreenivasan, is also an actor, director, and producer. The veteran actor was last seen in Aap Kaise Ho and Nancy Rani this year.
