Comedian Sunil Pal has reacted to his recent encounter with Samay Raina on The Great Indian Kapil Show. The episode sparked controversy after Samay took a dig at Sunil by saying he learnt abuses from the comments on his comedy videos.
However, Sunil doesn't think he was humiliated and believes that comedy shows are meant to be light-hearted and entertaining. He says that people will make jokes on each other, and he made punchlines on Samay, who did the same.
Sunil shares that he was informed prior that Samay would be on the show and was told to talk about his stand on the kind of comedy he prefers. He says that he doesn't have a personal beef with Samay but has a difference in opinion with gen-z comedians who use abuses and profane language.
The comedian adds that he wants young comics to utilise their access to good subjects and not resort to profanity and abusive language. He believes that the audience deserves clean content, and it's only his request to young comics to use their platform well.
