A day after taking oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Vijay met Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) founder Vaiko at his residence in Chennai's Aram Nagar.

During the visit, Vijay met the female house help staff at Vaiko's residence, who looked excited to meet him and adorably stood beside him to click pictures.

Vijay was seen with Vaiko at his residence in a video shared by Polimer News, where he greeted everyone with folded hands and even imitated a gesture of removing the evil eye with his hands.

The moment brought a smile to everyone's faces, with fans praising Vijay's heartwarming gesture and respect towards the house help staff.

In his first speech after being sworn in as Tamil Nadu CM, Vijay expressed his will to run a 'transparent government' and accused the previous DMK government of emptying the state's treasury.

He also signed the first set of official documents related to key poll promises and governance measures, including providing 200 units of free electricity and constituting Special Task Forces to tackle drug-related crimes and strengthen women's safety in the state.
