Trisha joked that she forgot she even starred in the film after not being included in most of the promotional material. The user pointed out that men are never sidelined from their own projects and that it's a disgrace when even a senior actor like Trisha isn't treated with due respect.
Trisha shared a post showing Suriya attending various events, including Ponniyin Selvan and Leo, and wrote, 'Trisha has never shied from promoting her films.' The post was in response to criticism from Suriya's fans, who questioned if Trisha really wasn't included in the film's promotional material.
Trisha and Suriya previously starred together in Mounam Pesiyadhe, Aayutha Ezhuthu, and Aaru. Karuppu will be released in theatres on May 14.
