A 20-year-old student, who was set to reappear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), died after falling from the third floor of a building in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
The student, who had failed the exam three times, was under immense pressure to pass, with this being her last chance.
According to the police, prima facie it appears to be a suicide, but they are not ruling out the possibility of an accident.
The NEET exam was rescheduled after the test was cancelled on May 12 due to a paper leak, which has led to a series of such cases.
The opposition Congress has blamed the government for the Indore death, citing alleged irregularities in the NEET.
Two other NEET aspirants have died in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan this week, with police suspecting the cases to be of suicide.
