Bengaluru residents can expect traffic disruptions on January 3 due to the Sri Banashankari Ammanavara Brahma Rathotsava festival. To ensure public safety and ease congestion, authorities will prohibit vehicular movement on a key section of Kanakapura Main Road between the Banashankari Temple and Sarakki Market Junction. To navigate the area, traffic police have suggested alternative routes for commuters. Those traveling from Konanakunte towards Banashankari Bus Stand can take a diversion at JP Nagar Metro Junction near Sarakki signal and proceed via Rajalakshmi route or take a right turn near Sarakki Market Junction. Motorists traveling from Banashankari Bus Stand towards Sarakki signal are advised to take a right turn near the bus stand and proceed through Yarab Nagar. From there, they can turn left at KS Layout junction and continue on suitable routes. The public and motorists are urged to plan their journeys in advance and cooperate with traffic personnel deployed on duty to minimize disruptions.
