The Delhi Government has issued guidelines for Bakri Eid, warning against illegal animal sacrifice and public slaughter.
Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra has cautioned that violating regulations will result in stern criminal action.
Sacrificing cattle, cows, calves, camels, and other prohibited animals is completely illegal in Delhi and violators will face legal consequences.
Animal sacrifice in public places and illegal buying and selling of animals are also prohibited.
The Delhi Minister has also warned against improper disposal of animal waste and blood after sacrifice.
Citizens are urged to report violations to the police and the Development Department.
