Global Alumni Meet 2024 : NIT-Agartala Inauguration by Tripura Governor Marks.
In a momentous occasion, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Agartala was inaugurated by the honourable Tripura Governor, Indrasena Reddy Nallu. The inauguration ceremony also served as the backdrop for the Global Annual Alumni Meet 2024, held at the prestigious Visveswariya Auditorium within the NIT-Agartala campus.
Governor Nallu in his address lauded NIT-Agartala as a pivotal institution describing it as the cradle of knowledge and innovation. One of the highlights of the event was the felicitation of the Golden Jubilee Alumni from the classes of 1970, 1971, and 1972, along with the Silver Jubilee Alumni from 1998. These distinguished alumni were acknowledged for their noteworthy achievements and contributions in their respective fields adding a sense of pride to the celebration.
The distinguished gathering included key figures such as Professor Manish Pal, Professor Sarat Kumar Patra, Chairman of NIT-Agartala Board of Governors Vinod Kumar Bauri, Dr. Shuvrokamal Dutta, Professor Dr. Swapan Bhowmik, and other esteemed personalities from the academic and alumni community.
