The Noida International Airport, India's most ambitious aviation hub, officially opened on Monday with the first flight by IndiGo landing at 7:55am. The flight from Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule, marking the beginning of operations for the largest airport in India and the largest cargo hub in Asia.

The passengers were greeted with a water cannon salute and a red carpet welcome as they disembarked. Shanti Jain, the first passenger to enter the terminal, expressed his excitement and pride at being part of the historic occasion.

The airport's opening is expected to strengthen investor confidence and reinforce Noida's position as a top destination for business and real estate investment.
