Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has described the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 examination as a 'crime against the future of the youth'. The National Testing Agency (NTA) cancelled the exam due to alleged paper leak investigation and will re-conduct it on a later date.
Rahul Gandhi slammed the BJP regime, saying the hard work and sacrifices of over 22 lakh students have been crushed by the corrupt government.
He claimed that some students' families took loans, while others sold their jewelry, all for nothing but paper leaks, government negligence, and organized corruption in education.
Rahul Gandhi said the cancellation is not just a failure, but a crime against the youth, and that lakhs of students will now endure mental stress, financial burden, and uncertainty.
He also questioned the value of education if one's destiny is determined by money and connections rather than hard work.
