A District-Level Review Meeting was held in Sepahijala district to assess the progress and implementation of key government programmes and ongoing development initiatives across the district.
The meeting reviewed the status of major sectors including education, healthcare, drinking water, road connectivity and other essential public services. Discussions focused on ensuring effective implementation of government schemes, timely completion of development projects and strengthening public service delivery at the grassroots level.
The meeting was attended by MLA Manab Debbarma, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma and other dignitaries, officials and representatives concerned with the implementation of various government programmes. The participants stressed the importance of close monitoring and coordination among departments to ensure that development initiatives reach their intended beneficiaries.
Officials were urged to address implementation challenges and maintain efficiency and accountability in the execution of projects. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring that government schemes deliver tangible benefits to people, particularly in areas requiring improved access to essential services and infrastructure.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of public participation and collective responsibility in supporting development efforts across the district.
Meanwhile, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being observed from August 9 to August 17, encouraging citizens to proudly display the national flag at their homes and participate in activities celebrating patriotism and national unity.
