Legendary US skier Lindsey Vonn is gearing up for her Olympic season, and she's feeling more confident than ever. At 41, Vonn has defied age and injury to return to the World Cup circuit, and she's suggesting that she's in the best physical shape of her life. Vonn, who retired from skiing in 2019 due to multiple injuries, made a surprise comeback last winter and secured a World Cup podium in the super-G event at Sun Valley. This season, she's aiming to add to her impressive resume, which includes 82 World Cup wins, two world titles, and four overall crystal globes. When asked about her current fitness level, Vonn revealed that she's been working hard over the summer to regain her strength and mass. Despite still being lighter than her prime racing years, she's gained 12 pounds and feels more powerful than ever. "My goal was to get stronger this summer, and I think I've achieved that," Vonn said at the Swiss resort of St. Moritz, where she's training ahead of the Olympic season. "I feel pretty damn good for my age, and I think I'm in the best shape I've ever been in.
