Tottenham Hotspur secured a remarkable 2-2 draw against Newcastle United at St. James' Park on Tuesday, thanks to a stunning bicycle kick from captain Cristian Romero in stoppage time. The draw brings an end to Thomas Frank's side's three-game losing streak in all competitions. Romero had earlier equalized for Spurs in the 78th minute with a diving header, cancelling out Newcastle's second-half opener from substitute Bruno Guimaraes. However, the Magpies regained the lead just eight minutes later when Antony Gordon converted a penalty awarded after a VAR review. Newcastle dominated possession in the first half but struggled to create meaningful scoring opportunities. The hosts came close to taking the lead in the 35th minute when Joelinton's shot cannoned back off the post.
