Filmmaker and choreographer Ahmed Khan is set to launch his son Azaan as a hero in his upcoming directorial project, Welcome to the Jungle, starring Akshay Kumar and a star-studded ensemble cast.
Interestingly, Ahmed and Azaan share the same birthday, which they celebrate tomorrow. Ahmed jokes that he only remembers his birthday because of his son, saying, 'He is the best gift my wife could have given me.'
Speaking about the launch, Ahmed says, 'Either the audience will like him, or he has to keep trying.' He adds that he doesn't behave like a father, but rather a director, and that he's more concerned about Azaan's nerves than his own.
Ahmed also shares his thoughts on trolls and preparing his son to be thick-skinned, saying, 'Once you have selected this profession, there will be people jealous of your position; you have to deal with it.'
