Allu Arjun's Raaka is breaking records months before its release. The pan-India film, marking the Telugu superstar's first collaboration with Tamil hitmaker Atlee, is attracting unprecedented interest from distributors in Bihar, where Arjun has a huge fan following.
Several distributors from Bihar have approached the makers to acquire exclusive territorial rights for the state at an unprecedented price. Raaka stars Allu Arjun opposite Deepika Padukone and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Allu Arjun's immense popularity in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand is understandable, given his last film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, performed exceptionally well in these regions. The distribution circle is expecting a similar reception for Allu Arjun with Raaka.
Directed by Atlee and backed by Sun Pictures, Raaka is expected to hit the screens in 2027. The film is generating immense interest, with one of the distributors saying, 'Allu Arjun is creating something you've never experienced or seen in Indian cinema before.'
