Bigg Boss 19 concluded on December 7 with Gaurav Khanna emerging as the winner. His victory sparked controversy among co-contestants, who claimed that his fame and association with Colors TV helped him win. However, Gaurav has refuted these claims, stating that his 20 years of hard work and dedication were the key to his success. Gaurav, a television actor, emphasized that he has not been a prominent face of Colors TV for the past 15 years. His last show on the channel was 'Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam' with Yami Gautam in 2010. He expressed his frustration at being perceived as a Colors TV face and said that he has to perform well in any competition to win. Gaurav's Bigg Boss 19 journey was marked by his calm and composed demeanor, which earned him praise from viewers. Initially, he faced criticism from Salman Khan for not being visible in the house, but he eventually found his footing and expressed his opinions more strongly. His smart gameplay and ability to maintain good relationships with his fellow contestants helped him reach the top two and win the trophy, defeating Farrhana Bhatt in the process. Gaurav also took home a ₹50 lakh cash prize.
