Renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has expressed his frustration with the Bollywood industry's tendency to praise films only after they have achieved success. In a recent interview, he admitted that people in the industry only appreciate successful films, and that he cannot force them to praise his own work.

Kashyap, who is currently starring in the Telugu-Hindi actioner Dacoit, praised several films recently, including Anil Kapoor-starrer Subedaar and Ranveer Singh's Lootera. However, despite his efforts to promote his own film, Dacoit, received lukewarm reviews and a dull opening day collection.

Kashyap's comments have sparked debate about the industry's double standard, with some questioning why filmmakers and actors are not more supportive of each other's work.
