Born and raised in Dubai, Edin has made Mumbai her home but still considers Dubai her heart's home. She shares that the conflict has made her value her family and loved ones more than ever.
Edin's father passed away in March 2025, and she recalls happier times in Dubai as a child. She believes that situations like these make one value peace, safety, and the people around you even more. Flights to and from Dubai continue to face disruptions, but the airspace has been opened.
Edin also spoke about a traumatic experience she went through last year in October, where she was harassed outside a temple in Delhi. She claimed that a man touched her inappropriately, but a man at the temple helped her, and her photographer later slapped the man multiple times. Edin believes that stricter laws should be enforced to ensure safety and that public figures should have respect for their personal space.
