Her half-brother Bobby Deol showered her with love in the comments. As the siblings' heartwarming exchange caught the attention of netizens, a throwback clip from 1999 resurfaced. In an episode of Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Esha, then a non-actor, spoke about her bond with step-brothers Sunny and Bobby Deol. Esha mentioned that she and her sister Ahana Deol are closer to Sunny, often meeting him while abroad. However, she also expressed her affection for Bobby. Their mother, Hema Malini, praised the brothers during the conversation, describing them as 'very nice boys.' She also noted that Sunny bears a striking resemblance to their father, Dharmendra, in terms of behavior and mannerisms.
