Reality show Lock Upp Season 2, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, started streaming on Netflix on Saturday. In the latest episode, Farah questioned Ram Kapoor about his controversial statement from the past, in which he compared his hectic promotional schedule to feeling gang-raped.
Ram Kapoor expressed regret over his comments but described them as part of his 'sense of humour.' However, Shreya Kalra found his clarification insincere and lashed out at him, saying that using gangrape as a joke is not a joke and that he needs to take accountability.
Shreya's outburst shocked the other contestants, and some of them pointed out that she was simply looking for Ram to apologise and assure everyone that he would not repeat such a remark. However, Ram kept insisting that he had taken accountability long back.
Fans were not happy with Ram's demeanour on the show and instead backed Shreya, with some comments calling her 'soo right' and praising her for speaking facts.
