Jatinga Festival 2023 Celebrates : Migratory Bird Conservation in Dima Hasao Autonomous Council (DHAC)

The much anticipated Jatinga Festival a two-day extravaganza occurring annually on October 21st and 22nd kicked off with a grand inauguration ceremony led by Dima Hasao autonomous Council (DHAC) Chief Executive Member Shri Debolal Gorlosa. This year festival carries a significant theme focusing on the conservation and preservation of migratory birds in the enchanting Jatinga region.

The festival highlight is a unique concert taking place in the scenic town of Dima Hasao,Haflong. The night concert features the talented winners of Indian Idol 12 Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal the first runners-up of the competition. They will be joined on stage by the melodious vocalists of the Naalayak indie rock band from Chandigarh, promising an unforgettable musical experience for attendees.
