Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut is promoting her upcoming film Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata with co-stars Girija Oak and Smita Tambe. In a promotional interview, Kangana questioned why mothers in the workforce don't receive the same support as Smita Tambe, whose daughter was welcomed to spend time on set.

Kangana drew from personal experience, saying that women in the household get 6 months of maternity leave if they're working in the government, but there's no playroom for their children after that. She added that it's a difficult situation for working mothers who are forced to choose between family and career.

Girija agreed with Kangana, saying that it should not be a choice between family and career. Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is scheduled to hit theatres on June 12 and tells the story of the harrowing events of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
