Khumpui Dance Group rise to fame: Stepping into the Spotlight
Khumpui Dance Group is a renowned and popular dance troupe in Tripura, celebrated for their energetic performances, innovative costume designs, impeccable teamwork, and trendsetting dance steps.
Founded in 2022, the group consists of 23 talented members, Comprising of 12 boys namely, Asish Tripura, Alen Debbarma, Govind Reang, Sanraj Debbarma, Sujan Reang, Umesh Reang, Hattrick Debbarma,Zinnit Debbarma, Sayan Debbarma, Ruhit jamatia, Jack Debbarma,Animesh Debbarma and 11 girls they are,Khumbar Debbarma,Hana Debbarma,Ringki Debbarma,Sourabhe Debbarma,Khumbar Debbarma,Ratna Reang,Rupini uchoi, Liya Debbarma,Tiyari Debbarma, Simi Debbarma,Sampari Debbarma.
Over the past three years, Khumpui Dance Group has consistently organized events and programs, showcasing their passion for dance. Their dedication has helped revive the dance group culture in Tripura, which had seen a decline in recent years. Beyond dance, the group actively engages in social initiatives, such as drug awareness programs, to promote the well-being of local youth.
This September, the group successfully organized a program, meticulously planned since June. This event demonstrates their commitment to delivering exceptional performances and contributing to the community.
