Actor-dancer Lauren Gottlieb says the true spirit of Christmas remains constant despite her busy life and travels. For her, it's a time to reconnect with childhood magic and cherish special moments with loved ones. Gottlieb's cherished Christmas traditions include selecting a real tree with her family. 'The moment we bring it home and the house fills with the scent of fresh pine, it instantly puts you in the Christmas spirit,' she shares. Gottlieb's family has blended with her husband TJ's, and she says celebrating with them has been a meaningful experience. 'Seeing everyone together, sharing customs, traditions, and laughter, feels incredibly special,' she says. This year, Gottlieb spent Christmas with a group of girls from an orphanage in Mumbai, where she felt a deep sense of connection. 'Buying gifts for them, listening to their ambitions, and being part of their stories was a truly blissful experience,' she says. As Gottlieb embarks on her first Christmas with her husband, she looks forward to celebrating with his family in Scotland. 'A perfect Christmas day for me includes a big tree, hot cocoa, cookies, and a full day of games,' she shares. Despite her busy life, Gottlieb says Christmas offers a rare pause and a chance to reconnect with loved ones. 'No matter where I am, the essence of Christmas stays the same – warmth, wonder, and magic that never leaves,' she says.
