Bollywood actor Sushant Singh recently took to social media to express his frustration with a rooftop restaurant near his home, which has been blasting music well past the city's 10 PM noise curfew. In a tweet addressed to the Mumbai Police, Sushant shared a video of the noisy eatery, Trove9, and asked if such noise levels were even legal. According to reports, the noise at Trove9 was still ongoing at 10:40 PM, sparking Sushant's concern. The Mumbai Police responded to his tweet by forwarding the matter to the Amboli Police Station, which has jurisdiction over the area. Sushant, a veteran actor with over two decades of experience, has been a household name in India since his debut in 1998's Satya. He gained widespread recognition for his roles in films like The Legend of Bhagat Singh and 16 December, and later became a popular host of the true crime show Savdhaan India. The actor's recent film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, was released earlier this month. Sushant's tweet has sparked a wave of support from his fans and followers, who appreciate his stance against noise pollution. The incident highlights the ongoing issue of noise pollution in cities like Mumbai, where residents often face disturbance from late-night noise from restaurants and other establishments.
