Prime Video's breakout college hockey romance Off Campus is heading back to Briar University with higher stakes than ever. The upcoming season shifts its romantic focus away from Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham to Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, whose complicated relationship became the most talked-about storyline of the first season.
Season 2 will adapt The Score, not The Mistake, and will explore Dean's past, his commitment phobia, and his complicated relationship with Allie. The season will also introduce a new love triangle between Dean, Allie, and Hunter Davenport, the hockey team's newest recruit.
The show will also see the return of Logan and Grace, who will develop their romance in the background while Dean and Allie hold center stage. New cast members joining Briar University include Hamilton star Phillipa Soo as Scarlett, a guest director in the drama department.
Season 2 is expected to be much darker than the first season, with a major anchor being Dean's past and his commitment phobia. The season will also explore the tragedy that could change everything, the death of Dean's childhood best friend Beau Maxwell, and the ripple effect it will have on the entire campus.
