Actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan made a heartfelt statement to his fans at an event in Ambedkar Konaseema district on Wednesday. He acknowledged that his previous films had left them feeling disappointed, but credited his recent success, 'They Call Him OG', to their unwavering support. Pawan's fans erupted in cheers when he mentioned the film, prompting him to express gratitude. 'I know my focus on politics and social welfare has taken a toll on you,' he said. 'That's why I decided to dedicate myself to my craft with OG. It's my livelihood, but it's also a way for me to show you that I care.' During a meeting with plantation owners, Pawan also addressed a common perception that his earnings from the film industry could be used to resolve political issues. 'These funds aren't a personal contribution,' he clarified. 'They're generated from the success of my movies.' Pawan's recent film, 'They Call Him OG', has been a commercial success, grossing ₹293.65 crore worldwide. The movie follows the story of a gangster who returns to the world of crime for the sake of his loved ones. This comes after his previous film, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', received mixed reviews and earned ₹116.82 crore worldwide. Pawan is set to star in 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' soon, following his role in 'Bro' in 2023.
