Director Priyadarshan has dismissed claims that Tabu was unhappy with the makers of Bhooth Bangla after a substantial portion of her role was allegedly cut in the edit.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Priyadarshan stated that he decides what to keep and what not to, and that Tabu is not upset at all.
He also denied reports that Akshay Kumar had asked for her role to be trimmed to increase his screen time, saying that Akshay does not interfere in the editing process.
Bhooth Bangla, which marks Priyadarshan's return to Hindi films after five years, has grossed over ₹200 crore worldwide despite receiving mixed reviews from critics.
