Bollywood's latest sensation, Dhurandhar, has taken the box office by storm. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh as Hamza, has shattered records and milestones in its 24-day journey. On December 28, Dhurandhar's fourth Sunday, it crossed the ₹1050-crore mark at the global box office, surpassing Pathaan's and Kalki 2898 AD's collections. This achievement has catapulted the film to the 7th spot in the list of highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Dhurandhar's fourth weekend was nothing short of spectacular, with the film raking in ₹62 crore in just three days. This is a new record for any Indian film, shattering the previous mark of ₹30 crore. The film's domestic collection now stands at ₹690.25 crore net (₹828.25 crore gross), and it's expected to cross the ₹700-crore mark soon. The film's international collections have seen a significant boost due to the Christmas holidays, with Dhurandhar now surpassing $26 million in gross collections overseas. This brings the film's worldwide gross to ₹1064 crore after 24 days. Dhurandhar's success has set its sights on the top spots, with a final haul of ₹1160 crore, ₹1215 crore, and ₹1230 crore in mind. While it may not reach the top three – Dangal, Baahubali 2, and Pushpa 2, all of which have earned over ₹1700 crore – Dhurandhar is still making waves in the Bollywood box office. The film, which also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan, is a spy thriller that follows Hamza's mission to infiltrate Karachi's gang and terror networks. Part 2 is set to release in March 2026, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next installment of Dhurandhar's thrilling tale.
