Rhea Chakraborty has made a major comeback in recent years, rebuilding her career after facing intense public scrutiny following the Sushant Singh Rajput case in 2020. She identified with Aryan Khan during his legal proceedings and public scrutiny, saying it reminded her of her brother Showik Chakraborty's experience after being arrested by the NCB.
Chakraborty reflected on her time in jail, stating the hardest part was being deemed unfit to live in society and losing her sense of self-worth. She admitted to going through a 'whole victim-spiraling' phase and experiencing pain, sadness, anger, tears, anxiety, and PTSD.
Despite the challenges, Chakraborty has continued to work, recently appearing on MTV Roadies: Double Cross and launching her own clothing brand, Chapter 2. She has been focused on moving forward professionally and personally.
