Anubhav Sinha, the director of Ra.One, has revealed that he once placed immense trust in Shah Rukh Khan's instincts during the film's production.

In a recent interview, Anubhav confessed that he used to think Shah Rukh had a far better grasp of audience preferences than him.

He admitted to making certain decisions influenced by Shah Rukh's views, saying "I probably shouldn't have thought that way."

Today, Anubhav admits that placing such unquestioned faith in Shah Rukh may not have been the most balanced or wise approach in hindsight.

Ra.One, released in 2011, received the Filmfare and National Film Awards for Best Special Effects but received mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office.

Anubhav's recent directorial Assi focuses on a Delhi woman's quest for justice following a violent sexual assault, while Shah Rukh is awaiting the release of his next film, King, starring his daughter Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone.
