Singer Sunitha Upadrasta has hit back at Chinmayi Sripaada after being called out for her recent statements on feminism.
According to reports, Sunitha released videos addressing the criticism, claiming that she knew what she was talking about.
She explained that her statement 'his eyes, his wish' was meant to highlight the societal norms that still exist, where women are not in control of their bodies.
Sunitha also responded to an incident where a man tried to force a woman onto his bike, saying that she would not say 'his hand, his choice' in such a situation.
Chinmayi had called out Sunitha for her statements, saying that she had been misled and that it was a worthless position to take.
Sunitha has maintained that she has suffered too and is not okay with the way things are.
