Actor Tara Sutaria has dismissed speculation that Yash's pan-India film Toxic might be delayed, confirming that the film remains on track for its scheduled June 4 release. The film, produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash, was initially slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19 but was pushed back due to the Iran-Israel conflict.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups features Yash in the lead alongside Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. The film has been embroiled in controversy due to its depiction of a sex scene in its teaser, with the Women's Commission and a Christian group filing complaints with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).

Tara Sutaria's first look as Rebecca from the film was released in January this year, and director Geetu Mohandas has praised her for her performance, saying that she 'completely astonished' her with her portrayal of the character.
