A shocking lawsuit has been filed against Hollywood actor Will Smith by a violinist who claims he was fired after reporting a sexual assault on the actor's 2025 tour. Brian King Joseph, the tour violinist, is suing Will Smith and his company, Treyball Studios Management, for wrongful termination and sexual harassment. According to a civil complaint filed on December 31 in a Los Angeles court, Joseph alleges that he discovered a disturbing note in his hotel room, booked by Smith's company, which read: "Brian, I'll be back no later [sic] 5:30, just us (drawn heart), Stone F." The note was accompanied by a beer bottle, HIV medication with another person's name on it, and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to another person. Joseph claims that he reported the incident to hotel security and tour management, but was instead accused of lying and blamed for the situation. He was fired just days later, with management citing that the tour was "moving in a different direction." However, Joseph alleges that he was quickly replaced by another violinist. The lawsuit alleges that Will Smith had been "grooming and priming" Joseph for further sexual exploitation since meeting in November 2024, and that the actor had commented on their "special connection." Joseph is seeking damages for retaliation, wrongful termination, and sexual harassment, as well as compensation for PTSD and economic loss. A representative for Will Smith has not responded to the news of the lawsuit. The allegations against the actor-rapper raise serious concerns about his behavior and treatment of his employees. The case is ongoing, and a jury will determine the damages.
