Chief Milburn noted that the suspect or suspects are on the run, and a manhunt is underway, but it is unclear whether the suspect poses a threat to the public.
A massive police response is underway at the Southdale Center mall in Edina, Minnesota, amid reports of a shooting, with police K-9 units searching multiple buildings in the area.
The Edina Police Department has advised the public to avoid the area until further notice.
