US President Donald Trump has stated that he does not plan to extend the ceasefire in the ongoing US-Iran war, citing that it will not be necessary.

During an interview with ABC News, Trump mentioned that the war could end with either a deal or the US knocking out Iran's capability.

He also made an extraordinary claim, stating that 'if I weren't president, the world would be torn to pieces.'

A second round of negotiations between the US and Iran is currently under discussion, but no official schedule has been set.

The US launched Operation Epic Fury on February 28, targeting key Iranian military sites, including missile facilities and naval bases.
