The United Arab Emirates issued a safety advisory for its citizens on Thursday, urging them to remain indoors and avoid recording videos amid fresh missile threats from Iran.
According to the UAE administration, citizens should proceed immediately to a safe place and remain there until an 'all-clear' alert is issued for the area.
Residents were also advised to stay away from windows, doors, and open areas, and to seek immediate shelter in the closest secure building.
The advisory comes as air defense systems in the UAE responded to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran, the ministry of defense said.
The Iran-US conflict escalated last week after Washington launched joint operations with Israel against Tehran, leading to a regional conflict with much of the Middle East drawn into the military confrontation.
