The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026, with 13,343 candidates qualifying for the Main Examination.
The preliminary exam was conducted on May 24, and the results were announced on Monday.
Last year, 14,161 candidates were shortlisted for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2025 against 1,087 notified vacancies.
Candidates who have qualified for the Main Examination will have to update their details, including submission of a fee of ₹200, on the UPSC website from June 19 to June 28.
The facility for filling in these details will be available on the UPSC website from June 19 to June 28.
Candidates who have already uploaded the required documents and have no changes to make will also have to log in and submit the form after verifying their details to generate the e-admit card for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026.
