3-Storey Building Collapse in Faridabad: Death Toll Rises to 4, 5 Injured in Separate Incident

A devastating three-storey under-construction building collapsed in the Harfla area of Faridabad on Saturday, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The cause of the collapse is still unknown. Debris from the collapsed building was scattered across the area, with large chunks of concrete, broken bricks, and twisted iron rods littering the road. In a separate incident, a 22-year-old man died and five others were injured when the roof of an under-construction house collapsed in Rabupura, Greater Noida. The incident occurred around 11:50 am when a group of workers were engaged in construction work at a house in Nagla Hukum Village. According to police, the owner, Mahavir Singh, was constructing the third floor of the house when the roof collapsed. The National Disaster Response Force was called in to assist with rescue efforts. The police have identified 11 construction workers, but five of them fled the scene after the collapse. The deceased have been identified as Shakir, 38, Kamil, 20, Zeeshan, 22, and Nadeem, 25, all residents of Jewar.
