The Delhi unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has landed in controversy over a Christmas skit that allegedly mocked Christian sentiments. The party's chief, Saurabh Bhardwaj, and two other leaders, Sanjeev Jha and Adil Ahmad Khan, have been booked under sections 298 and 3(5) of the BNS for outraging the religious feelings of the Christian community. The skit, uploaded on X on December 17 and 18, depicted Santa Claus collapsing due to Delhi's pollution crisis. The clip showed a man dressed as Santa Claus dramatically falling to the ground, with passers-by looking on. Reacting to the scene, Bhardwaj quipped in Hindi, "Santa fainted hearing that the AQI has hit 376.
