Air India announced on Tuesday that its check-in services have fully recovered from an overnight technical glitch caused by a third-party system issue. The disruption had affected multiple airports and resulted in delays for several flights. The airline attributed the resolution to the restoration of the third-party system, stating that all airports are now functioning normally and flights are operating according to schedule. Air India expressed gratitude to its passengers for their understanding and patience during the challenging period. The airline had initially reported that the issue had caused delays across multiple airlines, including Air India. However, it assured passengers that its airport teams were working diligently to ensure a smooth check-in experience. This incident comes on the heels of a similar technical issue at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport last month, which affected over 400 domestic and international flights. The Automatic Message Switching System (AMSS) experienced a technical issue, leading to longer queues and slower operations. In response to the recent glitch, Air India advised passengers to check their flight status before departing for the airport and to reach the airport earlier than usual. The airline's swift resolution of the issue has ensured that flights are now operating on schedule, providing relief to passengers and airlines alike.
