Akshay Kumar's Security Entourage Involved in Mumbai Accident; Driver Under Custody

A speeding Mercedes collided with an autorickshaw on Monday evening near Mumbai's Juhu, causing a chain reaction that involved actor Akshay Kumar's security entourage. The incident occurred around 8-8:30 pm near the Silver Beach cafe. The autorickshaw rear-ended into the security vehicle, which then hit Akshay Kumar's SUV. Fortunately, everyone involved in the accident, including the autorickshaw driver and passengers, escaped with minor injuries. Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna had just returned to Mumbai from a trip abroad. Eyewitnesses praised the actor for stepping out of his vehicle to assist the autorickshaw driver and passenger, who were trapped under the entourage vehicle. The driver of the speeding Mercedes, Radheshyam Rai, has been taken into custody and charged under relevant sections of the law. The autorickshaw driver, Mohammed Sameer, is receiving treatment for his injuries, and his brother has requested compensation for the damage to their vehicle. The incident occurred amidst a crowd of bystanders and media personnel, who were present at the scene due to an event attended by Art of Living's founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The Mumbai Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the accused driver.
