A gruesome murder has shaken the city of Gorakhpur, India, after a 20-year-old man was brutally beheaded by his friends in a fit of rage following a drunken brawl. According to police, Ambuj Prakashendy, a resident of Surya Vihar Colony, left his home on November 26 for a ceremonial event but failed to return. His family filed a missing persons complaint on November 28 after his phone remained switched off. Investigations led police to one of Ambuj's friends, who allegedly confessed to killing him with an axe over a money dispute. The friend claimed that the group drove to Maharajganj, where they dumped the severed head near Deoria and the torso 10 kilometers away near a canal in Shyamdeurwa. Speaking to the media, SP Abhinav Tyagi revealed that the three accused men, aged between 19 and 21, were arrested for their involvement in the heinous crime. While two suspects are in police custody, the search for the third remains ongoing. The incident has sparked widespread shock and concern, with many calling for stricter measures to prevent such senseless violence. This incident comes on the heels of another shocking case in Noida, where a 32-year-old man was arrested for beheading a woman and dumping her body. The accused claimed that the woman was pressuring him for money and threatening to engage his daughters in the flesh trade. As police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ambuj's murder, they urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring the perpetrators to justice.
