The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked the 101st birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee with two exhibitions that celebrate his life, legacy, and values. The BJP headquarters exhibition highlights Vajpayee's ideological foundation and commitment to good governance, while the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya's Atal Prashasti exhibition offers a more intimate look at his life and public journey. The latter exhibition features a poignant artefact - Vajpayee's last-used Ambassador car, a symbol of his final moments as PM in 1996. According to Nitin Nabin, BJP national working president, Vajpayee's commitment to value-based politics and ideology paved the way for a new era of development and good governance. The exhibitions also reflect Vajpayee's emphasis on democratic values, particularly the 'culture of dialogue, not just noise.' The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya's director, Ashwani Lohani, notes that the museum is celebrating former Prime Ministers' birthdays with talks and exhibitions, aiming to preserve their contributions and legacies.
