A bomb threat on the Tejas Rajdhani Express train, traveling from Delhi to Patna, prompted a 31-minute halt on Saturday. According to officials, the train was stopped to allow a comprehensive security clearance, following a reported bomb threat received from Delhi Control. However, a thorough inspection by the Bomb Disposal Squad, local police, and other authorities found nothing suspicious on board. This incident comes on the heels of a similar bomb scare on the Kashi Express earlier this month. On January 6, a phone call claimed a bomb had been planted on the train traveling from Gorakhpur to Mumbai. Although the threat turned out to be a hoax, security agencies sprang into action, evacuating passengers and conducting a thorough search. In that incident, a combined team of local police, GRP, and RPF shifted passengers to a safe location and sealed off the platform and nearby areas as a precautionary measure. The authorities are yet to identify the individual responsible for the hoax call on the Kashi Express. In both cases, the swift response of security agencies ensured the safety of passengers and prevented any potential harm.
