The Indian government's 'Operation Sindoor' against terror infrastructure in Pakistan is still underway, according to Border Security Force (BSF) Inspector General Ashok Yadav. Speaking in Srinagar, Yadav warned that any action by Pakistan will be met with a strong response. While the operation has destroyed several launching pads and forward locations, many remain intact, and terrorists continue to infiltrate across the Line of Control. Launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians in May, Operation Sindoor aims to dismantle terror infrastructure in Pakistan. The BSF, commemorating its Diamond Jubilee and 61st Raising Day, highlighted its significant operational achievements in Jammu, underscoring its crucial role in safeguarding the border with Pakistan and the Line of Control. The BSF Jammu has been manning approximately 200 km of the International Border and is deployed alongside the Indian Army along the Line of Control. In 2025, the force played a key role in Operation Sindoor, facing multiple challenges from Pakistan, including cross-border firing, infiltration attempts, narcotics smuggling, and drone operations. Yadav's warning is a clear message to Pakistan that the Indian government will not tolerate any further provocation.
