Delhi residents can expect a respite from chilly nights, with a minimum temperature of 8°C expected on Tuesday, a significant rise from the previous day's 4.2°C. The approaching western disturbance is also expected to bring light rain and gusty winds, which could reach speeds of up to 40 km per hour. This change in weather is expected to improve air quality, with the Air Quality Early Warning System predicting a return to the 'moderate' range on Tuesday. However, the Air Quality Index (AQI) may still hover around the 'poor' category from January 29 to February 4. The maximum temperature is expected to range from 18°C to 20°C on Tuesday, with a high of 23.2°C recorded on Monday. According to Skymet Weather, the western disturbance will bring warmer easterly winds, leading to overcast skies and a rise in minimum temperature. This relief will be short-lived, as fresh snowfall in the Himalayas is expected to cause a dip in minimum temperature across the plains in the coming days.
