Delhi has relaxed its COVID-19 restrictions, allowing government offices and schools to return to physical mode. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa announced on Wednesday that the GRAP-3 guidelines have been revoked, and the capital will now operate under GRAP-2 rules. As a result, the 50% work-from-home arrangement for government offices has been discontinued, and schools will no longer follow a hybrid mode. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) revoked the GRAP-3 restrictions, citing recent improvements in air quality. However, the agency emphasized that Stage 1 and 2 restrictions, introduced on November 21, will continue to be enforced to prevent a deterioration in pollution levels. Delhi's air quality remains in the 'very poor' category, with an AQI of 327 on Wednesday evening. Forecasts predict that the air quality will remain in this category in the coming days.
